BOYER, Jane Allen (illustrator). - Jane Eayre FRYER. The Mary Frances Sewing Book, or Adventures among the Thimble People. London: George G. Harrap and Company, Ltd, [n.d.]. 4to (231 x 171mm.) Colour frontispiece, decorative title printed in orange and black, 3 colour plates, 10 folding pattern plates with accompanying tissue patterns, numerous illustrations printed in orange and black. (Light browning, occasional minor soiling, marginal tear without loss to plate facing p.68.) Original blue cloth with onlaid pictorial paper label to upper-cover (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, upper-joint starting to split, spine slightly soiled). Provenance: Rosemary Mills (signed to front-free endpaper and presentation inscription from her mother dated 'July 29th 1925' to dedication leaf).
