A Japanese cloisonné enamel jar and cover, Meiji period, the squat circular body decorated with panels of birds, butterflies and flowers reserved against a gilt speckled brown ground filled with flowers, height 11.7cm (minor faults), with wood stand, together with a Japanese Satsuma earthenware coffee pot, early 20th Century, the cylindrical body painted and gilt with bamboo, iron red and gilt signature to base, height 17.5cm.
