A Chinese hardwood display cabinet, late 19th/early 20th century, the triple arched surmount finely carved and pierced with a pair of confronted dragons amidst clouds, centred by a flaming pearl above an arrangement of two cupboards, asymmetrical shelves and two drawers, carved with dragons, bats, clouds, and prunus, the carved and pierced back panels decorated with peach branches, prunus, bamboo and fruiting vine, the carved and pierced frieze with two fish and fruiting vine, on Buddhistic lion mask shouldered scroll legs, height 223cm, width 123cm.
