A Chinese cloisonné archaistic hu shaped vase, mark of Qianlong but probably late Qing dynasty, the turquoise ground baluster body elaborately decorated with a design of polychrome lotus, scrolling tendrils and interlacing scrolls, beneath a band of ruyi heads enclosing bats, the shoulder with a frieze of stylized dragon scrolls between ribbed gilt bands, the flared neck with further lotus, scrolls and lappet panels, flanked by a pair of gilt dragon head and tongue loop handles suspending loose rings, the circular foot further decorated with pendant lappets, the gilt rim and footrim with keyfret bands, incised six character mark to base, height 39cm.
