LOT 1105
A late 19th century French lacquered brass and white marble four glass table clock with perpetual calendar and moonphase, the eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'Le Roy & Fils Paris, 4947', the three piece white enamel dial with Roman numerals and visible Brocot escapement, inscribed 'Le Roy & Fils ... Paris', within an outer sweep seconds ring with Arabic numerals, above a further two-piece enamel dial annotated with months of the year to circumference, enclosing subsidiary day, date and moonphase, all set within a foliate scroll engraved gilt brass surround, the bevel glazed case with moulded white marble top and base with bracket feet, height 41.7cm, with pendulum and key (some faults).
