LOT 1066
A George V oak cased mantel clock with eight day three train movement quarter striking and chiming on five gongs, the foliate scroll engraved silvered arch dial with subsidiary regulation dial above chapter ring with Roman numerals and inscribed 'E.H. Lawley & Sons Ltd Birmingham', the rectangular case with bevelled glazed door, carved foliate detail and applied bead and reel borders, on bracket feet, height 29cm, with pendulum and winding key. Provenance: accompanied by a leather bound list of subscribers to testimonial to Henry Holtom, whom was presented with this clock on his retirement in 1920.
