An Arts and Crafts brass candlestick, attributed to William Arthur Smith Benson, the baluster nozzle and wide drip pan supported by a sweeping arm, counter balanced by a weighted terminal of seed pod form, raised on a shaped foliate foot, height 11cm, length 32cm. Note: a similar example can be seen in 'W.A.S. Benson Arts and Crafts Luminary and Pioneer of Modern Design' by Ian Hamerton, p.121.
