A late Victorian Neoclassical Revival satinwood and marquetry inlaid fold-over card table by Maple & Co., the serpentine shaped top decorated with a penwork mask of a maiden within a half-oval reserve of ribbon swags and palmettes, the border similarly inlaid with scrolls, palmettes and floral rosettes, the square tapering legs with carved acanthus leaf capitals and terminating in brass caps and castors, bearing stamped maker's mark to pull-out base, height 77cm, width 107cm, depth 53.5cm.
