A pair of Fornasetti Melodramma Opera series plates, mid-20th century, printed in black with titled portraits of 'Otello' and 'Desdemona' within laurel wreaths and a surround of musical instruments, against a gilt ground, black and green printed factory marks to bases, numbered '3' and '4' respectively, diameter 25.5cm.
