A Chinese Jizhou 'tortoiseshell' glazed bowl, Southern Song (1127-1279), of shaped circular outline, the interior and exterior band covered in a dark brown glaze with splashed amber decoration ending short of the buff coloured rim and foot, diameter 9cm (minor rim chips).
