A mid-19th century French ormolu cased mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the circular enamel dial with blue Roman hour numerals and outside Arabic minutes, the case surmounted with a portrait bust of a classical maiden, flanked by a pair of cupids standing on scroll supports hung with bellflower festoons, on a breakfront base, height 48cm (lacking pendulum and bell).
