A George III mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the silvered break arch dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials, and inscribed 'Richard Comber Lewes', all beneath a strike/silent indicator to the arch, the hood with two brass ball finials above a moulded arch pediment, stop fluted columns and glazed door, the trunk with arched rectangular door, on a panelled base with shaped apron and bracket feet, height 243cm, with pendulum (lacking weights).
