A George III silver four-light three branch candelabrum, the central beaded sconce and drip pan supported by a foliate moulded tapering stem, flanked by three foliate capped scroll branches with beaded sconces and drip pans, each branch supported by a snake, its body encircling a flowerhead motif, the acanthus leaf capped tapering cylindrical stem engraved with a coat of arms above a leaf and berry moulded base, on a circular foot with foliate border, engraved presentation inscription 'Presented by the Society of Lowtonians to William Greaves Esq ... as their Honorary Secretary and Treasurer during sixteen years, London 1814 by Benjamin Smith, height approx 61cm.
