A late 19th Century Indian silver claret jug, possibly Kutch, the urn shaped body and neck cast in relief with a band of deity medallions within stiff leaf borders, on a hexagonal foot, the tappit lid surmounted with a snake charmer finial, playing his pungi for the attention of a cobra, forming the scroll handle, unmarked, height approx 29.5cm.
