MECHAM, Clifford Henry (illustrator). Sketches & Incidents of the Siege of Lucknow… with Descriptive Notices by George Couper. London: Day & Son, 1858. Folio (560 x 370mm.) Lithographed decorative title-page, 18 tinted lithographed plates on 9 leaves, 8 full-page tinted lithographed plates. (Heavy damp-staining, some spotting and light browning, torn with some loss, all leaves loosely inserted.) Original cloth blocked in gilt and blind (spine lacking, extremities bumped and scuffed, soiled). Provenance: 'Perry' (armorial bookplate to front pastedown).
