POTTER, Beatrix. Ginger & Pickles. London & New York: 1909. First large-format edition, early impression, 4to (176 x 135mm.) 9 colour plates only (of 10). (Lacking all leaves after p.48, some light spotting or browning.) Original paper-covered boards (extremities bumped, head of spine chipped). Provenance: Jack Stephens (presentation inscription to front pastedown dated 1922). - And four others by Potter (5).
