BENNETT, George Matthews. The Art of the Bone-Setter. London: Thomas Murby, [n.d. but preface dated 1884]. 8vo (180 x 120mm.) Photographic frontispiece, 8 uncoloured plates. (Light browning, occasional minor spotting, some pencil scribbles.) Original brown cloth blocked in black and gilt (extremities bumped and scuffed, slightly affected by damp, rear-free endpaper lacking). Provenance: W. Spencer (presentation inscription 'With the Author's Compliments to W. Spencer Esq Aug/84' to front-free endpaper).
