LOT 895
A group of four First World War awards to Sidney Clover, comprising Military Cross, George V issue, un-named, 1914 Star to 'MS-1019 Pte S. Clover. A.S.C.', 1914-18 British War Medal and 1914-19 Victory Medal to 'Lieut. S. Clover', displayed in a glazed oak frame, with a Royal Artillery officer's cap badge, the M.C. Citation detail showing 'Lt. S. Clover, R.F.A. - For conspicuous gallantry in action and devotion to duty in continuing to fire his guns, although suffering from gas in an area which had been badly gassed for 12 hours', related photographs and paperwork, including commission document showing the rank of Second Lieutenant in The Territorial Force 17th September 1915 and discharge certificate from the A.S.C. on being commissioned into the R.F.A.
