An Edwardian Arts and Crafts oak elbow chair by William Birch of High Wycombe, the pierced top rail and comb back above a rush seat, on block legs united by stretchers, height approx 112cm, width approx 62cm. Note: this design is illustrated in 'Liberty's Furniture, 1875-1915' by Daryl Bennett, p.243.
