An early 19th Century red leather covered card square needlework box with swing handle, the hinged lid revealing a two-section interior and a fitted pin cushion, with a thimble, three cotton reels and a sleeve of needles, width approx 7cm, together with a similar smaller two handled needlecase of canted corner rectangular form, the hinged lid with gilt-tooled decoration and inscribed 'Needles' revealing a removable tray, fitted with a thimble and a sleeve of needles, width approx 5cm.
