A George III mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement chiming on eight bells and striking on a gong, the brass break arch dial with rolling moon to arch, above a silvered chapter ring with Roman hour numerals and Arabic minutes, the matt centre with a subsidiary seconds, cornered by pierced and cast foliate spandrels, the hood with pagoda top, surmounted with brass ball finials above a glazed door flanked by stop fluted columns, the trunk door flanked by stop fluted corner columns, on a plain panelled base and plinth, height approx 225cm, with pendulum, winding key and three weights (alterations to movement).
