First edition, 4to (293 x 203mm.) Numerous illustrations. (Light browning.) Original cloth (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed), dust-jacket (torn without loss and repaired with adhesive tape, some browning and soiling). Provenance: Michael Gilkes (bookplate to front pastedown). Note: signed by the author Mary Cosh and by the Duke of Argyll to half-title. - And nineteen other volumes relating to the historical and archaeological monuments of Scotland.
