RIVERS. - P.G. HAMERTON. The Unknown River: an Etcher's Voyage of Discovery. London: Seeley, Jackson, & Halliday, 1874. 8vo (182 x 118mm.) Etched frontispiece, 7 etched plates, 2pp. advertisements at rear. (Light browning.) Original decorative cloth blocked in black and gilt, g.e. (extremities bumped and scuffed, slightly soiled). Provenance: Edward Hasell (bookplate to front pastedown). Together with a folding map of the Thames Estuary published by Edward Stanford. - And twelve other volumes relating to rivers. Provenance: The Michael Gilkes Collection (14).
