CANALS, BRITISH. - E. Temple THURSTON. The 'Flower of Gloster'. London: Williams and Norgate, 1911. First edition, 8vo (215 x 156mm.) Colour frontispiece, 5 colour plates, numerous uncoloured illustrations, 16pp. advertisements at rear. (Spotting, light browning, occasional minor soiling.) Original decorative cloth blocked in gilt, t.e.g. (extremities bumped and scuffed, spine slightly darkened). - And a quantity of other volumes relating to British canals and inland waterways (including: David BICK. 'The Hereford & Gloucester Canal'. Newent: The Pound House, 1979). Provenance: The Michael Gilkes Collection (a quantity).
