A Staffordshire porcelain teapot and cover, circa 1795-1800, probably Factory X, the globular body painted in the Mandarin palette with Chinese figures in a landscape, height approx 18cm (chips to rim of cover and star crack to body), together with a similarly decorated oval sucrier and cover and cream jug, all pieces unmarked. Note: see plate 215 of David Holgate's 'New Hall and Its Imitations' for illustration of similar teapot.
