A Chinese blue monochrome glazed sacrificial altar vessel and cover (dou or tou), mark of Jiaqing but later, the rounded body and domed cover moulded in low relief with archaistic bands on a similarly decorated flared pedestal foot, moulded pseudo seal mark to base and cover interior, height approx 27cm (chipped section of rim).
