A large flintlock musketoon/rampart gun with heavy two stage brass barrel, flared at muzzle, length approx 68.5cm, rounded border engraved lock, faintly struck with crowned 'GR' and crowned arrow lock-maker's mark (1762?), swan necked cock, full stocked with hole for swivel mounting and brass furniture, including flat butt plate, retaining portion of broken wooden ramrod.
