A Staffordshire enamelled pearlware shepherd and shepherdess candleholder figure group, circa 1790, modelled seated side by side beneath a branch issuing the sconce, he wearing a puce jacket and playing a pipe, she wearing a floral frock coat and holding a metal crook, between them a seated dog with recumbent goat and lamb below, height approx 30cm (faults and repairs).
