An early Victorian tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl inlaid standish, the stylized entwined serpent carrying handle flanked by a pair of square glass inkwells and double pen trays above a frieze drawer and splay bracket supports, height approx 16.5cm, width approx 26cm, depth approx 20cm.
