An early 19th Century Scottish figured mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted circular dial with gilt chapter ring and black Roman numerals framing gilt subsidiary seconds and date dials and inscribed 'Chas Merrilies, Edinburgh', the drumhead hood above a rectangular panelled trunk door flanked by fluted corner columns, on a panelled base and bracket feet, height approx 209.5cm, with pendulum and two weights.
