LOT 1084
A late 19th Century French ormolu and porcelain clock garniture, the clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with Japy Frères maker's stamp, the porcelain rectangular dial panel with black Roman numerals framing a central scene of a courting couple above a landscape panel, within jewelled and gilt overlaid bleu céleste borders, the porcelain side panels with further landscape views, the case with urn surmount above a pair of cast columns and foliate moulded base, height approx 35.5cm with pendulum, together with a pair of matching urns, height approx 26cm, and giltwood stands (minor faults).
