A late 18th Century oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial with Arabic minutes and Roman hour numerals and subsidiary date dial, the centre inscribed 'J. Grundy Whalley', within an engraved foliate scroll surround cornered with leaf scroll spandrels, the hood with moulded pediment, turned columns and glazed door, the trunk door with shaped top flanked by a pair of corner columns, on an inlaid panelled base and bracket feet, height approx 201cm, with pendulum and two weights (faults).
