A late 19th Century French gilt spelter and slate mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the enamel dial with black Roman numerals, the drum case surmounted with a globe flanked by a seated explorer, on a rectangular slate plinth, height approx 31.5cm, with pendulum (some chips to slate and re-gilt).
