An early 19th Century silver gilt oval Pitt Club badge, the obverse mounted with an oval cameo portrait of William Pitt in the style of Tassie within a Latin inscription, 'Non Sibi Sed Patriae Vixit', beneath a wreath and bow surmount, the reverse engraved 'John Walter Esqr, Pit Club' within a memorial inscription 'In Memory of the Rt Honble Wm Pitt Died 23 Jany 1806 Aged 47', length approx 4.5cm, within original fitted red leather case.
