A late Victorian silver and cut glass claret jug, the silver collar with foliate decoration, hinge lid and flame finial, flanked by a scroll moulded spout and scroll handle above an oval clear glass body with hobnail cut panels and polished divisions on a circular foot, Birmingham 1890 by John Grinsell & Sons, height approx 27cm.
