A pair of George II cast silver candlesticks, each urn shaped nozzle with gadrooned band above a waisted knopped octagonal stem with basal knops on a sunken well and square base with engraved armorial and gadrooned border, one with scratch weight '36=10' and 'No. 1', the other with scratch weight '37=3' and 'No. 2' to bases, London 1753 by Edward Wakelin, height approx 30cm, fitted with a pair of plated nozzles.
