A Shirvan runner, South-east Caucasus, late 19th Century, the midnight blue field with a column of six lozenge medallions, supported by hooked guls, animals and flowerheads, within a terracotta 'S' scroll border, approx 300cm x 124cm (possibly reduced in length).
