An Elsmore & Forster pottery puzzle jug, circa 1870, printed and coloured to each side with figures of Grimaldi the Clown, flanking scenes of cock fighting, framing the inscription 'Abel Pointon Macclesfield 1871', height approx 22cm, together with a Staffordshire porcelain jug, circa 1875, painted with flowers and gilt presentation inscription (hairline crack to rim).
