A Chinese famille rose enamelled porcelain vase, probably late Republic period, the ovoid body painted with opposing panels, one with a fruiting lychee branch, the other with insects, fruit and vegetables, each with three lines of black text and red seal mark to left corner, reserved against a black speckled ground filled with puce lotus and iron red scrolling tendrils, repeated on the flared neck, iron red seal mark to base, height approx 29.5cm.
