A Chinese armorial export porcelain tankard, Qianlong period, the cylindrical body finely enamelled in famille rose colours with the Arms of Doore, the shield framed by a foliate surround, surmounted by an en grisaille moth, beneath a gilt and iron red spearhead rim, height approx 14.6cm (repair to handle and chips to rim). Note: a similarly decorated tankard in the Hamilton Collection is illustrated on page 464 of 'Chinese Armorial Porcelain' by David Sanctuary Howard.
