A Japanese carved ivory netsuke, Meiji period, modelled as a boy sitting on the back of Fukurokuju, polishing his head, height approx 3.5cm, together with an okimono netsuke, modelled as Shoki the Demon-queller wading through water with three oni following behind, signed to base, height approx 4.5cm.
