A mid-Victorian silver oval tea tray, the centre engraved with bands of foliate scrolls and laurel, the raised rim finely cast and pierced with a border of lions, urns, masks, cornucopia and fruiting vines, flanked by a pair of foliate scroll moulded handles, London 1867 by Steven Smith & William Nicholson, length approx 72cm.
