WELLS, Edward. A New Sett of Maps both of Antient and Present Geography. Oxford: 1700. Folio (450 x 321mm.) 41 engraved double-page maps. (Heavily affected by damp, first few leaves and first few maps with loss to bottom edge as a result, many other maps with marginal damage or heavy staining to bottom edge, 'New Map of British Isles' and 'New Map of Present Poland, Hungary…' torn without loss but just encroaching plate, some soiling and browning.) Old calf (worn and affected by damp).
