SWIFT, Jonathan. The History of the Four Last Years of the Queen. London: printed for A. Millar, 1758. First edition, 8vo (206 x 125mm.) (Light browning, some spotting and soiling, occasional ink marginalia.) Late 18th Century calf, armorial blocked in blind to covers (extremities bumped and scuffed with some loss to leather, joints splitting). Note: ink inscriptions dated 1781 to front-free endpaper and preliminary blank stating 'This history does Swift no credit, it reveals none of the… negotiation & indicates none of the real faults of the treaty'.
