(Light browning and spotting, heavier to title-page, repaired tear to pp.17-18 without loss, advertisement leaves after G2 lacking.) 20th Century boards (extremities lightly scuffed). Provenance: Peter Cary (inscription to front-free endpaper). - And one other volume by Pope ('Eloisa to Abelard, the second edition'. London: 1720. 8vo.) (2).
