A 19th Century mahogany longcase clock, probably Scottish, with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted break arch dial with figural scene to arch titled 'Come Under My Plaidy', above Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials, cornered with painted titled scenes emblematic of the four continents 'Europe', 'Asia', 'America' and 'Africa', the hood with castellated surmount above a glazed door, the trunk with rectangular door and canted corners on a plain base and bracket feet, height approx 227cm, with pendulum and two weights (some faults).
