A mid-19th Century French ormolu and slate mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension and striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate with Pons-de-Paul mark, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Bezzo Freres & Cie, Paris', the case surmounted with a bronze figure allegorical of war and peace, above ormolu scroll mounts and scroll feet, height approx 54cm, with pendulum.
