LOT 906
A memorial work of art, formed from a section of steel panel from a 1925 Fairey Fawn two seater biplane involved in a fatal crash in May 1926, the section applied with a model of a Fairey Fawn above a red painted poppy motif, surmounted by a brass plaque, engraved 'In memory of Sergt. Ralph England Hawkins DFM and LAC Sydney Marsh Cox, 12 Squadron Royal Air Force, who were killed 17 May 1926 when their Fairy [sic] Fawn crashed near Andover Aerodrome', approx 81cm x 61cm, together with copies of paperwork relating to Hawkins and Cox.
