Limited 'art paper' edition of 500 copies, this number 358 signed by the author, 8vo (213 x 133mm.) Numerous illustrations. (Occasional light spotting.) Original blue cloth blocked in gilt (extremities lightly bumped, faded and slightly soiled). Provenance: 'Nell' (inscription to front-free endpaper 'To Nell. From the author, Uncle Charlie with Best Wishes for a Happy New Year and in loving & thankful memory of her valiant husband Herbert Carpenter who, faithful unto death, fell in France in the Great War.
