An English Transitional shaft and globe onion shaped green glass wine bottle, late 17th Century, covered in a gold iridescent patina, with string rim and kick-in base, height approx 14.5cm (small chip to rim and some minor losses to gilt patina). Provenance: excavated by the vendor when digging a pond at his home in the village of Wilstead, Bedfordshire.
